WORCESTER WALK

Presented by Friends of Worcester Walk.

DATE: Saturday 22nd March 2025
TIME: 12PM - 3PM
LOCATION: The Wildflower Meadow at Worcester Walk, Coleford.

Singing, birdsong, spring flowers, nettle soup!

 

12PM - 1PM: Singing

 

1PM - 2PM: Guided walk with stops for singing

 

2PM -3PM: Nettle soup at Hopewell Colliery Cafe just down the road

 

Come and raise your voices at Worcester Walk, and learn a few spring songs, led by Kirsty Abraham. Then a gentle stroll through the fields and around the perimeter path, led by Ed Drewitt who wiIl help you to identify birds and spring flowers, with a couple of stops for singing. Finish the event with a bowl of warm nettle soup at Hopewell Colliery Cafe!

Sturdy walking boots are advised.

THIS EVENT IS ACCEPTING DONATIONS. NO PRE-BOOKING NEEDED, JUST TURN UP!

TRANSPORT & PARKING INFORMATION

There will be some parking at the bottom of the Forest Road, some at the top by the field gate, and some in the field, but we encourage car sharing.

 

Buses to Broadwell don't stop near us but perhaps the driver could be requested to stop! The site is just above the Oak Quarry recycling centre.
