ZIG/ZAG/ZINES creates, collects, and distributes zines* made by and for people who think differently, on subjects including neurodiversity, disability, and madness/mental illness. On the last Friday of every month, we run Coleford Zine Club - a free drop-in session at Coleford Library for anyone interested in making and/or learning more about zines. Come along and browse the ZIG/ZAG/ZINES collection, and have a go at making your own!

*Zines (pronounced "zeens") are independently produced, low/no-cost DIY publications. They can be about any subject and created in any style, typically within a format that allows fast, simple reproduction and small-scale distribution. They may be informative, creative, and/or subversive, and are often used by people from socially marginalised groups and communities to record and share ideas and stories.

This event is neuro-inclusive and for all ages but please note that some of the zines in the ZIG/ZAG/ZINES collection may include swearing and/or references to trauma and self-harm).

TRANSPORT & PARKING INFORMATION

The library has free parking (including disabled parking) and is within walking distance of several major bus routes into Coleford.
